Circa 950 minatori sono rimasti intrappolati sotto terra, in Sudafrica, a causa di un blackout dovuto al maltempo. Lo riportano i media locali. L’incidente è avvenuto nella miniera d’oro Sibanye-Stilwater Beatrix, vicino la città di Welkom, nel centro del paese. Il portavoce del proprietario della miniera, James Wellsted, ha assicurato che i minatori stanno bene e hanno ricevuto cibo e acqua. La corrente è stata già ripristinata ma non è ancora sufficiente pèr riportare i lavoratori in superficie.
